Washington: Just a glimpse of an inverted bat is enough to create fear in any person.  Most of us would never have imagined the color of the bats that rock the world with the Corona epidemic, only to see black bats.  But scientists have found the Orange Bat.

A brand new species of bat

Scientists have said that this is a completely new species of bats.  Not only is it orange in color, but it is also fluffy.  On Wednesday, scientists have published their study about this bat in the scientific journal American Museum Novates.

It is revealed in this study that it is a completely new species of bats.

Orange bats found in African country

Scientists have found this interesting species of bats in the West African country of Guinea.  John Flanders, director of Bet Conservation International, a non-profit organization in Austin, Texas, said that 'it was a goal of life in a way but I never thought it would be accomplished.  Although every species is important, but you are always ready for interesting looking creatures and it is really fantastic.

He said that many new species are being discovered in laboratories, but going to the forest to find a completely new species in this way is brand new.

Nancy Simmons, curator of mammals at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, says, "It is as if experienced researchers went into the field and they went there and caught an animal and took it in hand."  This is something we cannot identify.

Orange bats Found new species of male and female bats

This new species of bat named Myotis Nimbaensis lives on the Nimba Mountains of Guinea.  Although scientists did not want to say that this is a new species.  Therefore, they also caught a male and a female species of this bat for accurate investigation.  Simmons then traveled to the Smithsonian National Museum in Washington DC and the British Museum in London to compare specimens of this species.

Genetic analysis revealed that this orange bat is completely different from its closest relatives.  This was the first step towards declaring it a new species.  In a way, it looks like a common black-winged bats but its orange color has made it popular.
