Indian team angry on Australia's terms, said- We are not animals of the zoo
The Indian cricket team, which has been in
Australia for more than a month and a half, does not want to be part of the
tough quarantine and bio-bubble again at the end of its tour. This is the reason why Team India is not keen
to play the last Test match of the series in Brisbane. In such a situation, the Indian camp seems
quite disappointed with the statement of Australian ministers. According to a report, the Indian team management
has said that they cannot be treated like 'zoo animals' in Australia. The Indian team management believes that if
thousands of spectators can come to the stadium in the Sydney Test, then why
are the players being tied only to the hotel.
The third Test match between India and Australia is to be held in Sydney from 7 January. After this, the last match will start in Brisbane from 15 January. Due to increasing cases of coronaviruses in Sydney, both teams in Brisbane will once again have to live in a tight bio-bubble, in which they will only be able to walk from the hotel to the grounds and back. It is believed that this stringent quarantine rules will be introduced for all players and staff in Sydney before going to Brisbane.
Not tolerated like zoo animals
"If you allow the fans to come to the
stadium and enjoy and then we ask the players to go to the hotel to quarantine,
then it is contradictory. Especially when the test report of all of us has come
negative. We are with us Don't want a
ring like zoo animals. "
On Sunday 3 January, all players and support
staff from both teams were tested for RT-PCR to check the virus following a
controversy over the eating of five Indian players, including Rohit Sharma, in
a restaurant in Melbourne. All samples
were found negative in the report on Monday.
After this, both teams left for the kidney from Melbourne.
Have already refused for quarantine
"We were told by his medical team that
we will not be allowed to go out of our floor in the hotel. The senior
management of the team immediately said that they are not allowed these
conditions. We have not heard anything since then."
Following reports of the Indian team refusing
to go to Brisbane, some Queensland ministers made inflammatory statements
against the Indian team. The state's
Health Minister and Shadow Sports Ministers had said that if the Indian team is
not ready to follow the rules then they do not need to come to Brisbane.
